Spiriva 18mcg Inhaler Capsules contain Tiotropium and are used, with the included HandiHaler device, for the maintenance treatment of asthma in patients aged 6 and above (Spiriva Respimat only), as well as for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, to reduce bronchospasm and COPD exacerbations. It is not indicated for the relief of acute bronchospasm.
