Amrizole is a metronidazole-based oral suspension indicated for the treatment of protozoal and anaerobic bacterial infections, including giardiasis, amebiasis (intestinal and hepatic), trichomoniasis, and anaerobic infections such as Bacteroides and Clostridium species.

- How to Use: • Adults and adolescents ≥12 years, giardiasis/amebiasis: 16ml three times daily for 5–7 days • Trichomoniasis: 16ml twice daily for 5–7 days • Anaerobic infections: 20ml every 8 hours for 7–10 days • Children 1–12 years: 15–40mg/kg/day divided into 2–3 doses for 7–10 days (not exceeding 2,000mg/day) • Avoid alcohol during and for 48 hours after treatment • Discontinue on rash or allergic reaction
